# AI-Powered Search

ProcessLogbook Cloud includes AI-powered search for natural language queries.

## Enabling AI Features

AI features must be enabled by a supervisor:

1. Navigate to **Settings** > **Organization**
2. Find **AI Features** section
3. Review consent information
4. Click **Enable AI Features**
5. Accept the data processing agreement

## Using AI Search

Once enabled:

1. Click **AI Search** in navigation
2. Enter a natural language question:
   - "What maintenance was done on pump P-101 last month?"
   - "Show me all abnormal conditions this week"
   - "What tasks are overdue?"
3. Click **Search**

## Understanding Results

AI Search returns:
- **AI Answer**: Summary response to your question
- **Sources**: Relevant notes and activities
- **Relevance Score**: How well each source matches

## Best Practices

| Do | Don't |
|----|-------|
| Ask specific questions | Use vague queries |
| Include equipment names | Expect real-time data |
| Specify time frames | Ask about confidential info |
| Use natural language | Use technical query syntax |

## Disabling AI Features

To disable AI:
1. Navigate to **Settings** > **Organization**
2. Find **AI Features** section
3. Click **Disable AI Features**
4. No new data will be processed
5. Previously indexed data remains until purge requested
