Cloud Access

Desktop Browser

Access ProcessLogbook Cloud from any internet-connected computer.

Logging In

  1. Navigate to: https://logbook.yourcompany.com (or your cloud URL)
  2. Enter username and password
  3. Complete two-factor authentication if enabled
  4. Dashboard displays recent activity

Dashboard Overview

  • Recent Notes: Latest notes across all equipment
  • My Activities: Your assigned tasks
  • Abnormal Conditions: Currently active issues
  • Quick Actions: Common tasks

Equipment Browser:

  1. Click Equipment in sidebar
  2. Expand hierarchy: Sites → Systems → Equipment
  3. Click equipment name to view details

Search:

  1. Use search bar at top
  2. Type equipment name or tag
  3. Select from results

Favorites:

  1. Star frequently accessed equipment
  2. Access from Favorites in sidebar

Creating Notes

  1. Navigate to equipment
  2. Click Add Note button
  3. Enter:
    • Title: Brief summary (required)
    • Body: Detailed description
    • Type: General, Maintenance, or Abnormal Condition
  4. Add attachments:
    • Click Add Photo to take or upload image
    • Click Add File for documents
  5. Click Save

Mobile Access

ProcessLogbook Cloud works on smartphones and tablets.

Mobile Browser Access

  1. Open your mobile browser (Chrome, Safari)
  2. Navigate to your Cloud URL
  3. Log in (credentials saved for convenience)
  4. Interface adapts to mobile screen

Quick Note Entry

For fast field documentation:

  1. Tap Quick Note on dashboard
  2. Select equipment (or scan barcode)
  3. Enter note text
  4. Snap photo if needed
  5. Tap Save

Offline Mode

ProcessLogbook Cloud works offline for field operations without connectivity.

How Offline Mode Works

  1. Download equipment data while online
  2. Work offline - create notes and activities
  3. Auto-sync when connection returns

Preparing for Offline Use

Before going into the field:

  1. Open Cloud app while connected
  2. Navigate to the equipment you'll be working on
  3. App automatically caches recent notes
  4. For extended offline work, tap Download for Offline

Creating Notes Offline

  1. Create notes as normal
  2. Notes are saved locally on your device
  3. Yellow indicator shows pending sync
  4. Notes upload automatically when online

Viewing Offline Data

While offline, you can view:

  • Equipment hierarchy (cached)
  • Recent notes (previously downloaded)
  • Your pending notes (created offline)

Syncing After Reconnection

When connectivity returns:

  1. App automatically syncs pending notes
  2. Green checkmark confirms sync
  3. New notes from others download
  4. Any conflicts are flagged for review
